NAR Critical Environment Emergency Kit (CREEK) – Mini & Enhanced

When you’re miles from help, a basic Band-Aid kit isn’t going to cut it. The Critical Environment Emergency Kit (CREEK) from North American Rescue is built for exactly those situations — overlanding, ATV trails, backcountry hunts, paddling trips, and remote camps where weather, water, and distance all stack the odds against you.

Each CREEK kit packs proven trauma and first-aid supplies into a Nite-Ize RunOff waterproof packing cube, using welded seams and a TRU® Zip closure that’s dustproof and rated to withstand submersion (IP67). This gives you a compact, organized, grab-and-go platform that keeps critical medical gear dry, visible, and ready when you actually need it.

We stock two versions on this page so you can match the kit to your mission: the Mini (82-0060) and the Enhanced (82-0059).

Variant Overview

CREEK Mini – NAR 82-0060

Best for: day trips, overlanding rigs, side-by-sides, range bags, and general outdoor EDC where you want serious trauma capability without a lot of extra bulk.

Compact, lightweight, and focused. This is the version you throw in the SxS, overland drawer system, or hunting pack and forget about until you really need it.

CREEK Enhanced – NAR 82-0059

Best for: multi-day trips, remote expeditions, and higher-risk environments where you want more than just the basics — extra protection against shock, weather, and extended care needs.

The Enhanced version builds on the Mini’s core contents and adds additional tools for hypothermia prevention and extended care:

Enhanced adds on top of the Mini loadout:

• 1 × Hypothermia Wrap (approx. 60" × 96") – helps reduce heat loss after major trauma

• 1 × Benzoin Tincture Swabstick – improves adhesion for dressings and closures

• 1 × Irrigation Syringe – for more effective wound cleaning in the field

• 2 × Bear Claw Nitrile Gloves (Large) – extra barrier protection for messy scenes

Some distributors also describe the Enhanced as more suited to multi-day and high-risk trips, with expanded capability for trauma, burns, wound care, and general first aid beyond the Mini.
